Today, you had the opportunity to express yourself through poetry. Reflect on your creative writing process. What did you find most enjoyable or challenging about turning your thoughts into a poem? Did this assignment change the way you think about poetry or creative writing? Explain your experience.

I had a really hard time coming up with words that rhyme with each other. Another challenge was making a story that made sense because the rhymes only made it more difficult. I haven't written a lot of poems in school so I don't have that skill to know what fits and what doesn't yet. Overall I think that if I had more practice I would do better. This assignment didn't really change my view on writing poems. It is still not my favorite form of writing but I can respect the people that can actually pull it off.

Summary: we wrote poems with two themes, 4 literary devices, and 4 stanzas with 5 lines.

Reflection: I learned how bad I am at writing poems
